SECOND ROUND

You must be willing to mail the work to us for final judging.
You must provide us with a pre-paid return mailing label.
The final size (presentation size) of any work can not be larger than 8 1/2 by 11. or 10″ by 10″ if square.
Your work may be smaller.
Work that is presented to the judges must be the way you would present your work to the public.

Please send your work between these dates April 18th and April 29th to
this address. Please do not ship before April 18th.

INPrint 2016

The INPrint call for entry puts the focus on the final product of the artist vision, the photographic print or object, not the jpeg on the screen. Rfotofolio wants to encourage and promote the art of making the photographic print.
This call for entries will be judged not only on the image, but by the craft, skill, and quality of presentation.
All media are welcome, including but not limited to traditional film, digital, collage, three-dimensional, encaustic, small books, and alternative processes. When you participate in our call for entry you are helping in growing the Rfotofolio Grant. Thank you.
Merit winners will be included in our on-line gallery, interviews, future publications, and be invited to future exhibitions.

We are please to say that the merit winners will also receive from Adore Noir a bundle of their wonderful e magazines.  A gift of photographic paper from Hahnemühle USA. Hahnemuhle has been making paper since 1584 and produces some of the most wonderful surfaces for photographs we have used. Also one photographer will be the recipient of a custom made book from Artisan Craftsman Books and Hahnemühle. Thank you to our sponsors.

ABOUT THE JUROR

Rfotofolio is pleased to announce that Catherine Couturier will be our guest juror for the 2016 call for entry INPrint.
Catherine is the owner and director of Catherine Couturier Gallery,the premier fine art photography gallery in Houston,Texas.
Catherine has been in the gallery business for sixteen years and shows works by both classic and contemporary artists. The gallery is a member of AIPAD (the Association of International Photography Arts Dealers) and exhibits around the country.
Catherine is on the advisory committee and annual auction committee for Houston Center for Photography and sits on the board of Through the Lens – Houston, an organization that empowers economically disadvantaged students through the art of photography.

TIMELINE

This call will have two rounds of judging.

MARCH 22, 2016 midnight CST, round one deadline.

E-mail notifications will go out to artist that have made it to the second round the week of MARCH 28th

APRIL 29, 2016 deadline to receive work for second round judging.

Notifications to the selected artist will be made in May 2016

Please read both the first round and second round requirements before entering INPrint.

First Round
Please send up to five images to callforentry@rfotofolio.org with your PayPal invoice number.

Please ATTACH the image files do not embed them.
Please do not send pdfs or other text files, only your images should be attached.

PLEASE INCLUDE WITH YOUR ENTRY:
Name – not in all capital letters please. First (given) name, then Last (surname) name
Paypal invoice number.

Prepare your files with the following specifications:
Longest dimension should not exceed 1024 pixels; (minimum 600 px width)
Saved as a JPEG at a setting of 12.
No Watermarks / Copyright Units / Logos on images

File naming is as follows.
LAST NAME _FIRST NAME_ TITLE.jpg
, for example Smith_Ann_Carousal_.jpg
